The Journal of Innovations in Educational Assessment is an annual publication of the International Association for Innovations in Educational Assessment (IAIIEA). The journal's purpose is to provide valid information to enhance research and knowledge to improve educational assessment practices across the globe.
The journal publishes documents that contribute to the improvement of educational assessment through innovations.
This third edition, Volume 2, Number 1, therefore addresses three cogent areas namely:
- ensuring validity and reliability of school-based and large-scale/high stake test items,
- the use of appropriate statistics in research methodology and
- maintaining test security through the application of technology.
